can I use a prepaid cell phone on a regular cell plan?

Stephnie Patout: nope... i know that my service provider will not. i was told that prepaid phones like tracfone has a chip in them that prevents any other company from using them. i too thought i was gonna get off cheap and use a p.p.p and it wouldn't work.

Toby Women: 2

Kiersten Clayburn: Being a former cell phone salesman for an anymouse company my best advice to you is dont do it because it will not work. Unless you want to pay alot of money to have your prepaid unlocked to accept your carrier your looking at maybe $100-$500 My best advice to you is if you cant afford a phone through your carrier check places like pawn shops or ebay when you go to ebay search for only phones that are compatible with your carrier.

Arlen Lopiccalo: On some businesses you'll get any telephone for prepaid, notwithstanding, you will pay finished fee of it. And with finished fee... I advise double or triple the fee in save (because it is set for a 2 years settlement) If no! longer... you've some phones that you could purchase everywhere. in case you do not care about efficient aspects and also you'll use it sparingly, pass ahead and get a pre-paid. For $40 9.ninety 9 you'll get a effective turn telephone with digicam and with $10 worth of minutes... in case you care about applications and/or you'll communicate and textual content message plenty.. pass ahead for a freelance... it is worth....Show more
