Dropped Phone Calls, Land Line?

Everette Rovinsky: the first place I would try is your phone company they can most likely diagnose the problem for you

Donte Hamme: First question: Are you speaking to someone who is using a cellphone? I know you're on a landline but if the person you're speaking to happens to be on a cellphone, then the dropped call is probably on their end. If this is happening while you're talking to someone on THEIR landline and it happens when you talk to several different people so that you KNOW it's your phone, then yes, I would call your local carrier. I've not heard of this happening but you might have a short in your line or the cord your phone is using could be defective. Check the cord coming out of the jack first and THEN check the cord between the part you speak into and the part of the phone that it's connected to. I have actually had a phone that had a bad cord between the part you talk into and the base of the phone and it would disconnect me when I would move! a bit.....All I had to do was to buy another two ended cord to connect the part you talk into to the base of the phone and that solved my problems. Good luck!!!...Show more
