Alphonso Brake: If you did not cancel the contract on the phone that you lost then you still are being billed for that phone number. If your "pre-paid" cell phone has a different phone number from your old phone you are almost certainly being billed still for the old number. Most cell phone companies have very different operations for their pre-paid and regular services. It is extremely unlikely that the phone you bought from WalMart is in any way tied in with your old phone service contract. Look at a statement - an old bill, from the telephone that you lost. On that statement there should be a number you can call to get customer service. Call that number to make sure your old service has been terminated if you do not want to get billed for it any more.Good luck!...Show more
