Have video games killed the comic book?

Rebbecca Sorkin: Manga are japaneese comic's and we use them for anime!!And I looooovvveee calvin and hob's!!!!!!!!!!!AND GET FUZZY! AND GARFEILD!! AND AND AND!!!XD XD XD!!!COMIC'S ARE AWSOME!!!!

Mozell Sponsler: comics books have been around too long to just disappear but what needs to happen is thier needs to be more older reader, exposing younger children to comics. I know I started reading comics because my brother collected them and i thought they were cool. since then he has stopped collecting but i'm now 26 and i have no plan to stop. i even got my ex-girlfriend's son into it. kid are kids and they will always enjoy this genre but they have to be exposed to it first before they can like them. so if anyopne here has kids, their friends have kids, or a cousin nephew...whatever, find out what characters they like and go on ebay or bidville and pick up a couple .50cent issues for them. and thier interests will grow.if you like comics, movies, video games, or mus! ic join my new yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/superherosforever/...Show more

Son Ahlers: I think we have changed, and our taste in comic books has changed as well, so the comic book companies have to keep up

Marna Liddie: no in a way it helped it because when ultimate spiderman the game came out more people buyed ultimate spiderman comics

Octavio Roylance: Yes and No. On the bad side video games takes money from comics. Most kids don't have patience to read anything these days, let alone a comic. Video games are sort of addictive and instant gratification. But on the goodside, comics can have their characters tie into games and make money that way. This can also cause gamers to get interested in the characters and buy the comic. That's my take. There are pros and cons. The comic business may dip now and then, but I think it's here to stay.
