Need dental advice for a professional about bad breath!?

answers 0:Ok, so I'm pretty sure I have some type of bacteria in my throat.. I've been having this problem for like the longest time, and it gets in the way of my social life. I brush my teeth everyday. But I can always feel like the nasal slime in my throat.. I can always cough some up if I try, similar to sinus. . . This bad breath happens somewhere around the tonsils I'm sure. Thats the problem.. I can't get rid of it by simple oral hygiene. And sometimes I get those little gross white rocks in my throat. This is very gross, and embarrassing. This is a very big problem, because I cant even talk to people face to face. If anyone has any good ideas, your welcome to share. I would really like some advice from a professional. I don't have a doctor, so can't expect me to go to one. I would appr! eciate any suggestions. Thanks to all....Show moreanswers 1:Before trying to mask halistosis you must find the root cause of it. Dentist first - to check for decaying teeth or any other problems. ENT next - sometimes sinus infections can lead to bad breath or even allergies causing nose blockages causing open mouth breathing. Tonsillitis can too. Do you drink enough water every day? Dry mouth causes build up of bacteria and smelly breath. After eradicating all problems just ensure that you brush properly, floss regularly and use a mouthwash and gargle but once again - don't mask what could be a health problem....answers 2:mouthwash .dont eat garlic..make sure when you wash your teeth wash your tounge goood because that actually what makes your breath smell .answers 3:Bad breath is mostly caused by caused by volatile sulphur compounds in the mouth or throat that smell. Try tooth gel, mouth rinse and breath spray that uses oxygenating technology, a unique formula that convert! s odorous sulphur compounds into sulphates with no smell.answe! rs 4:It sounds like you are suffering from post nasal drip. This is usually where you have a sinus infection or just an allergy, which causes the mucus liquid from your nasal area to flow into your throat. That forces you to swallow mucus all the time (which upsets the stomach and makes you feel queasy). Or you have to spend a lot of time spitting it out. (That's not too bad of you are home alone and can just spit into the toilet or the bathroom handbasin. But constant spitting will gross out anybody else who notices you doing it.)Since seeing a doctor is too expensive for you at this time, you could start by changing to a mucus reducing diet. A detox, if you like. Cut out all dairy products and just go vegetarian for a month. Just live on healthy fruit and salads for a while. Use beans, chickpeas or lentils for your protein source... or tofu.Lay off alcoholic beverages, reduce your intake of tea or coffee. Herbal teas are good, though. Cut out all sodas and drink plenty of! water. I'll bet your drip clears up. You could also try cleaning your tongue, especially if the back of it looks kind of furry....answers 5:Try an anti-bacterial mouthwash containing chlorhexidine gluconate as well as your brushing regime.
