Adrian Sherlin: You control how hard it is by how fast you spin and the amount of resistance you use. Everyone is going to be on a different fitness level. You want to pedal at 70-90 rpm's and just enough resistance to get your heart rate up. If your legs start to hurt cut back on the resistance but keep pedaling at the same speed. I lost 40 lbs since I started cycling and spend about 90 min a day on my trainer. A little weight training will help too. It will take several weeks to get you metabolism up and running at a good pace....Show more
