Collin Barter: both the 1st and the 2nd gen have pretty much the same things, web and youtube and stuff, 2nd gen is better because it holds more stuff
Coleman Deliberato: Buy the second generation i mean its a no brainer it has better sofware worth the price.
Karey Dunken: If your ONLY considering the first and second generations pick the second. It is updated so a variety of apps can be bought... At least more than the first gen. Also web browsing works faster. The first generation can't really have apps. The iPod isn't up dated enough
