Judie Kise: It's between my water meter and stop tap and they have said its a one off repair free of charge.
Nelly Kikuchi: From the Stop Tap to where their pipe enters your house, Is their responsibility, that is why they say it is a free job. As for the path, they have to re instate it as it was, You need to speak to the manager Customer Services before they do it in just concrete.I mean it is their responsibility
Torrie Weissenbach: I am a re instater for the gas I do put back things like this every day private or foot way I have done this for 15. Years thay will low level concrete. Then put the Finnish on top you can say it looks like a patch and demand thay do a bigger section so it is more tide Just push it with them thay don't need a customer complant see ya
Jene Licausi: The answer here may well depend on wether its your leak or theirs. In other words is it the supply to your home. If it is they are not actually obliged to repair the leak in! the first place as its your responsibility to maintain water pipes on your property. They can at their discretion carry out A repair to your supply pipe with no charge. If however its one of their pipes on your property thats another ball game. They should reinstate to the original condition.EDIT Just for information the supply pipe, thats the pipe that feeds from the water authorities main into the house is only their responsibility upto and including the outside stop tap which may or may not also house the water meter(this is the location for all new services and where the mains have been renewed)This is why all new build have the stop tap off the property whereas when water was first piped in the tap was on your property. The water authority are not obliged to repair any pipe on your property but some will as I said before do a one off fix FOC(normally only if its a straight forward repair) mostly in the essence of stopping water wastage....Show more
Cole Desher: si! nce privatization the water companies can do what they like , ! on your property it is your reponsibility, if you can prove(unlikely) the leak was their fault you can claim but otherwise you have to pay
Donte Hamme: They all so said if its under the house or at the back of the stop tap they won't fix it for free and once it is fixed they take a meter reading and one again in a weeks times and calculate how much the leak is costing and deducte it from the bill for the last year only.
