Lourie Mcroberts: I have been on a diet trying to lose weight i do kickboxing almost everyday any where from 20-45 min a day it really hasn't been working does anyone have a good style of dance that i can maybe learn off of youtube or something maybe break dancing but that seems to hard to learn HELP PLEASE
Rosalba Lingner: Eating more calories than you burn through activity causes the body to make fat stores and gain weight, A few years ago I would have said yes because Video game playing is a very low calorie burning activity, however with the growing popularity of Nintendo's Wii console with its motion sensitive controllers and games that encourage movement I think the video game causing obesity or weight gain is now less true.
David Kuper: Parents who let their children do whatever and eat whatever they want make children obese.
Lindsey Zanardi: no it doesnt cause obesity if its just used for enjoyment once a day or maybe even a bit more. what wi! ll cause obesity is when it substitutes going outside to play sports and such.
Nia Monopoli: Tell your boyfriend that if his client is all red in the face, with a panicky look and looking like he canât catch his breathâ¦heâs pushing him too hard. His clients could throw up just because they just ateâ¦or they could pass out, just because they did not drink enough.Your boyfriend should make sure his clients ate so they have easy access to energy (due to their blood sugar level) and then waited for at least one hour before exercising so they donât interfere with their digestive process. He should make sure they drink enough water, before, during and after exercising.Maybe they should wear a heart monitor to make sure they stay in their target zone.If I had a personal trainer that would make me throw up or pass out, I would get another one. Maybe you should ask your boyfriend to change profession so you can do a favor to his clients.
Carter Edstrom: High fat a! nd calorie contented food causes obesity. Games help the obese! be entertained at home, so you're close but no real correlation.
Clement Viscarro: No, the lifestyle that incorporates cookies, chips, and fastfood, while probably the most athletic thing that most kids will do this year is run 2 laps in P.E.The transition from playing baseball outside and playing tackle football in the parks to sitting on our butts, eating 30 minute ready meals and watching American Idol and other stupid CBS shows for hours on end is what is making out waists bigger....Show more
Moises Rupinski: i dont know about building muscle but Melbourne shuffle/Hardstyle shuffle deffinatley take endurance cause you are constantly moving and will definately make you lose weight if you do the harcore styles. its hard but in my opinion Hardjump is even better because you are constantly jumping and moving. Look up Hardjump or Hardstyle on youtube.
Rosalyn Olivera: No, careless people cause obesity.
Antwan Schrum: no its just if u dnt move off u! r bum all day and eat all day while ur playing - then u'll get fat yeah! =]x
Rosalia Hibler: Belly dancing, believe it or not
Bettye Arre: By talking to them. They are suppose to be a bit out of breath, but still able to talk comfortably. If they are out of breath and can barely speak, then he's killing them :PCheers :P
Gerardo Greist: Injuries, excessive absences of clientele that's all i can think of.
Hye Caulley: Throwing up and passing out are absolutely not a necessary part of a hardcore workout program. If this is something that is happening to his clients often, there's a major problem with his technique. If a client cannot gage his/her own intensity level (I usually ask them how hard they're working on a scale from 1 to 10) a heart rate monitor is a great way to measure that. A good workout program includes a variety of training, and not every session should be an all out, max effort session. The body needs recovery workouts and steady stat! e workouts--keeping the intensity level at medium but holding it for 30! -45 minutes or longer.
Karey Dunken: No
Jorge Detlefs: actually a recent study found on MSN last week showed that hardcore gamers are actually more physically fit than other children/teens their age.
Saran Stealy: NO,eating too much junk causes obesity
Leif Serabia: sitting on the couch and eating and not doing exersice causes obesity. video games in general do not.
Darrin Hixenbaugh: My boyfriend is a personal trainer and he asked me to find out some signs and symptoms of when youâre pushing a client too hard. He's looking to monitor his clients a little better so they are less likely to run to the locker room to throw up or pass out on the floor. Are there any exercise programs he should be following to insure that this doenst happen? AND what are some signs and symptoms that he's pushing too hard that you can think of?
Damion Oleksa: well kinda.it depends if you work out or not.like if you sit on the couch all day playing video game! s of course your going to gain a lot of wait because your not moving like you are supposed to....Show more
Matt Gerdeman: i dont know what sites you could use but if you're arguing that it doesn't cause obesity you could use facts from the many clinical studies using nintendo wii to loose weight wityh games such as wii sports and wii fit
Tom Romer: Do Video Games Cause Obesity
Alisa Kaleiwahea: They stimulate idleness that propitiates obesity.
Heidy Fujikake: You need to bulk up some more! Get more calories in. Do dumbbell presses instead. Yes, dumbbells are better to build muscle than with a barbell unless your doing like squats or deadlifts. Dumbbells activate more muscle fibers when your lifting to stabilize the weight, because dumbbells are easy to move around and go off to the side easily but accidentally. This calls for more muscle fibers to come in then a barbell bench press to stabilize the weight in a somewhat straight motion. More muscles f! ibers being torn means more muscle being gained. Switching to not worki! ng on chest for awhile is not the answer. You just need to switch up the exercises because your body is used to the barbell bench press. Switch to dumbbells for 1-3 months. I stick to dumbbell bench presses instead of barbells because I get more muscle gains that way and it evens out your arms and chest. Because your dominant hand pushes the barbell up more then the undominant hand, resulting in uneven pecs and arms.
Emery Blando: I hit a plateau in my diet in the past three weeks, and no matter how hard I try I can't get past 135. My goal is 120 so I'm in the home stretch, but I just can't lose any more. I excercise 4 times a week, I've tried shifting my regime around to different days, but it doesn't work. My idea was that I could take a week off my restictive diet and eat normal (still healthy, but just enough to maintain instead of trying to lose), spend the next week restricting calories and working out at the gym, and see how that helps. Is this a good or bad pl! an? Please let me know! Thanks!
Lucrecia Laurito: NOT UNLESS YOU EAT THEM
Leticia Laiben: dieting only slows your metabolism and will make you gain weight in the long run, you should not even go by weight, that is most peoples problem, they are to focused on what the scale says, just go by how you feel and how you look in the mirror. the most effective way in my opinion would be to do some sort of exercise for no longer then 45 min immediately after waking up, any longer will cause you to loose muscle and if you dont eat right after exercising then you will also loose musle, just keep it under 45 min and eat right after you exercise, that will probably be the most effective way, and avoid diet pills they will just make you loose musle to, caffine will at least, green tea should be fine, and green tea is very helpfull for loosing belly fat.
Len Dalba: Nope, video gamers are actually healthier than the average person.
Joesph Smithmyer: the actual play! ing of video games does not cause obesity but eating junk food while pl! aying video games will
Lorine Helwick: Video games DO NOT cause obesity.Eating more calories than you burn causes weight gain and eventually obesity. Sitting around playing video games is not an effective way to burn calories. Nor is sleeping, watching television, or staring at the wall.
Cliff Jacoby: http://books.google.com/books?q=books+video+games+...That's what I found...Doesn't look like it's gonna help you. Here's something better to work with.http://ibistro3.jocolibrary.org/uhtbin/cgisirsi/V6...It's still not the best, but all I could find.Good Luck with your paper!...Show more
Joeann Hoyt: http://www.bestwebbuys.com/The_Obesity_Myth-ISBN_9...Hope that helped.
Joie Kemmis: If you can use magazine articles as a source, there are a number of articles that show a direct relation between the time we spend in front of a game, tv, or computer and being overweight. We sit there and eat, and we are not moving, so this is how it happens. An easy way ! to start would be to internet search the topic, and the answers are out there!
Jesusita Dykhoff: very good idea!
Alexis Reyer: No that has to do with metabolism, many nerds of all kinds play a ridiculous amount of video games and are not fat
Carter Edstrom: Video games can be part of a sedentary lifestyle (like TV, fast food, ect). The lifestyle leads to obesity.
