Chanda Wittwer: Vegetarians don't only eat vegetables. People who eat vegetation along with animal flesh are called omnivores. There is no type of vegetarian that eats fish.
Mauro Cowee: Pescatarians.
Rayford Speziale: People who eat fish but no other kinds of meat are the omnivore subtype "pescetarian." This was formerly referred to as "pesce-vegetarian."
Autumn Vacio: Well, I think you should be able to just fine, however, most vegans won't because it is an animal by-product, and most vegans avoid all animal products. But I say it's just fine to eat it anyway, people have been eating it with vegetarian and omnivorous diets for thousands of years.
Ron Keliipio: Breakfast: Banana smoothie w/ greens maybe a date in there too or a fruit salad, sweet riceSnack: Apple/ grapes/ banana- usually just 1pcLunch: Salad with sprouts/ greens/ mushrooms/ avacado/ olive oil rice with varieties of curry, yogurt Snack: Fruit or veggiesDinner: Maybe another sm! oothie/ small salad & pc fruit/ or collard wrap with guac. & sprouts rice, bread, and curry,
Gaylord Barragan: NoI eat some fake meat but it is expensive and has loads of chemicals I have never heard of in it..I eat a lot of beans and spinach and am constantly on watch for new recipes to add both.
Ramona Pago: I've only recently changed to a vegetarian diet and I have tried some of those "fake meats". I haven't found a product that I actually like and finished so the majority of my daily diet is plant food and plant products. I've sort of lost faith that I will ever like any of the mock meat products. Bleh! Some of them are horrible!
Queenie Ruthers: Plant based foods. We can mimic a lot of meats with tofu, beans, grains, and flavorings.
Foster Koopmann: I use tofu and other stuff to make my own mock meats occasionally.I still don't eat a lot of it though. Actually hardly any mock meats.Though I eat a bit of tofu.
Shaquita Wernicki: Well, veget! arian is what you call a person who doesn't eat any part of an! animal, but eggs, honey and dairy. A person who only eat plants is called a vegan. Someone who eats a vegetarian diet with the addition of fish is usually called a pescetarian or (more rarely) a pesco-vegetarian.
Alisia Sutphen: Vegetarians eat a wide variety of foods. Those who choose to eat fish (even though fish is meat) are usually called pescetarians. They might also eat white meat such as chicken.
Leora Klingelhoets: It's difficult finding purely vegan food - If you buy carrots from a supermarket, chances are quite a few field animals died from the harvesting process.Meanwhile, one could argue that honey is obtained by exploiting bees - not quite as painful to watch as stealing milk from cows.Guess it matters where you draw the line. Do you mind if bees are harmed or disturbed to collect the honey you consume? If not, go for it! People should consider themselves vegans according to what they believe veganism is, not due to what other people are telling th! em.
Serita Hefferon: They don't eat any animal (meat and stuff), or anything that comes from an animal (the product of them). Some stuff they don't eat honey, eggs, dairy, butter, meat.
Idell Dufort: no, i hardly eat any of that type of food.
Kip Ockenfels: Or can they eat honey for that matter?
Piedad Bassiti: Should i eat a pop tart?
Elden Dedon: LOL the call is self-explanatory VEGAN: merely vegetables, Grains & Fruit uncooked: uncooked vegetables, Grains & culmination right here my menus for the day previous to this. Many uncooked Vegans do as much as twenty-5% of their nutrition intake as a cooked vegan element. some do no longer something yet one hundred% uncooked. many times in the process the day I make a sparkling Veggie Juice too, the day previous to this I merely did no longer make an effort. sparkling Juice & a million or 2 eco-friendly smoothies are the often happening in my every day eating recurring. If i want some thing after dinner that's a chew of fruit no longer something harder to digest.
Toshiko Reimers: Bees are insects, can't vegs eat insect products?
Elli Esaw: No, they have a lot of sodium in them and if I get even just a little more sodium then I'm supposed to I bloat like a balloon. I eat a lot of vegetables, stir frys, roasted veggie sandwiches and I eat a lot of tofu as well. The only meat subs I eat would be lunch "m! eats" and "cheeses" and the occasional veggie dog. I've found some really nice organic veggie burgers with not that much sodium so I eat those a lot as well.
Adam Momaya: No. I used to eat some every day but now I've gone to a more healthy vegan diet and feel much better for it.
Sena Highman: Technically if you're a vegan, you don't consume ANY animal, or animal by-product. Honey is a by-product, so I'm gonna say no to this. I'm a vegan and I don't eat it, the other reason is for the inhumane way the treat the bees. Here is an explanation I found a few months ago:From a former beekeeper: "[T]ypically, beekeepers are gloved and netted to avoid stings (nearly every bee who stings will die due to her entrails being pulled from her body attached to her stinger.) Then the hives are opened as quickly as possible and the bees are âsmoked.' Smoke from a smoldering fire carried in a âsmoker' is pumped into the hive and the bees are âcalmed.' In spite of this, the c! ombs are pulled quickly and many bees are crushed in the process. When ! a bee is hurt, she releases a chemical message that alerts and activates the hive members who proceed to attack the intruderâ"giving their lives in the process."
Jen Maday: Can You Eat Honeycomb
Silvia Stclair: Fish and Chips?
Maurice Breuning: Eat what you want and be happy. You're an omnivore. Stop following someone else's made up rules about what you can and can't eat.
Ramona Pago: No animal or animal products. Eggs, cheese, if its made from or comes out of an animal its off limits.
Alphonso Brake: Anything from Vegas, obviously.
Keven Woodington: They eat whatever gets spilled on the ground near the caves they live in.
Joel Feagler: food
Coleman Senn: Can vegans eat honeycomb?
Maryland Gareau: No, I don't eat anything out of a package. I grow much of my own produce in hydroponic gardens. I don't care for the taste or texture of the fake meats, and they are loaded with chemicals, preservatives, and other stuff I ! simply don't want in my body. I like to keep food as close to the way nature intended it as possible.
Warren Kotter: You'd call them vegetarian. No offense, but I'm a vegetarian, and I eat more than vegetables. Believe it or not, there are such things as cheese, milk, eggs, and fruits. :PThe actual "vegetarian" is one who eats no meat except for fish (which they don't consider meat). The other type, one who eats no meat including fish, is called an lacto-ovo vegetarian (or ovo-lacto, I can not remember which). Consequently, the word you're looking for is vegetarian. :)
Filiberto Ranalli: nicely i'm an ovo-vegetarian, meaning i don't drink milk yet I do consume eggs, nonetheless I many times replace eggs lots of the time which you ought to assert i'm a strict vegetarian. i could prefer to be a vegan, yet being 14 college and oldsters pose a concern. relatively with the cooking whilst my schedule is packed and the fact that i will not be able to placed on wool or! silk and something like that. i think its too limiting. even nonethele! ss my existence style is already incredibly lots vegan and all my products are organic and organic, community, and organic, yet i think I do only not choose that label....Show more
Peggy Sandefer: hell no. i hate meat ! its wrong and discusting. why do u think ima veg now...lol
Kaley Lappas: No ... it is a byproduct of an animal and hence to eat it would be "bee exploitation" ... for real. One vegan nut said it was taking food out of the mouth of the queen bee and the "baby bees". For reall it was right here on V&V.
Erica Bottaro: What about flour is animally?Or bread?Pasta- where is the animal in that? Oatmeal? Is that a cow prroduct?Really , anyone can eat fries, chips, avocado salad, spinach crepes, banana pancakes, 3 bean salad, onion bhaji, carrot soup, potato cakes and a thousand other things, and that is all "vegan" food. It's just regular, normal food. It's the food that ha been adulterated, like bread with cheese fat in it, and vegeta ble soup ! with beef in it, that I am concerned with.
Marcelina Schossow: I'm a vegan and no, I eat waaay more fruit, veggies and whole grains than I do meat substitutes.
Raven Purl: I do agree than some vegetarian also eat fish.I do not think that vegetable is the good food always to eat. I think domestic animal have some ingratiate which is very good for help which is not available in the vegetable.
Stevie Goldey: Nah. I hardly ever eat mock meats. Now my boyfriend is another story..lol. He lives off of Boca Chik'n patties. I mostly eat tofu, beans, and veggies.
George Dingeldein: "The word 'veganism' denotes a philosophy and way of living which seeks to end the idea of animals as property and exclude all forms of intentional exploitation of, use of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing, research or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, including people and the envir! onment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all ! products derived wholly or partly from animals."
Alberto Kozub: well ppl usually consider them as vegetarians, but they aren't veggies.they are called pescetarians. not pesco-vegetarians eitherr--never heard that, just read it in one of the answers.
Lino Cawthorne: Most vegans do not eat honeycombs as it's a byproduct of animals, bees.
Hwa Waterford: Pescetarian
Jacques Vaquera: do they eat, like anything other than fruits and veggies?do they eat flour and bread?i heard they dont eat honey, eggs, dairy, meat,...what do you guys eat:)
Corrinne Ruozzo: I eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. I am not a big fan of mock meat.
