Safely Remove Hardware - Camera/iPod Help?

Anton Waln: okay - it works on others computers. I care more about the camera than the iPod.The USB port works fine.

Von Houskeeper: The network administrators may have changed the security policy on the computer and you may no longer have permissions to add software / hardware and you are out of luck to reading your camera on your work computer.Or you just have a bum USB port on the compurter

Kenneth Thuesen: This sounds to me like you are missing some kind of driver for your ipod that your home computer has but your office computer does not have. A driver is a software program that just about every hardware device in your computer uses so the device can speak to the computer. Go to Apple (using your office computer not home) and download the latest iTones and see if that will help. iTones might carry the drivers that will help your office computer see your iPod so you can download your pictures. If this does not address your problem then fish around at Appl! es web site and forums page and they may have something there that will cover your very problem. Good Luck....Show more

Rufus Plough: no i don't :) that could corrupt the photographs on it and pondering I basically have those copies and no returned united statesi do not want them ruined. lmao at purple yet thnx for making my throat harm ;)
